RARE Barbie The Genuine Mink Stole 1964 Sears Exclusive Near Mint

Truly rare and stunning, Barbie's "The Genuine Mink Stole" was available from 1964 - 1965. It was the first Sears Exclusive and the most expensive Barbie garment at the time.

It remains one of the most desirable piece of clothing to this day. The beautiful "autumn haze" mink has soft thick fur with no thinning or bald spots. There is one tiny (2mm x 2mm) area on the neckline in the back where the fur was caught under the stitching during the manufacturing process (see photo #4). The tan silk laminated lining has no stains, holes, tears, loose stitching, wear or discoloration.

Original black hook and eye firmly attached. Crisp, flat, black and white vintage Barbie® tag attached. Extremely hard to find in this gorgeous condition. Please note: Doll is not included.
