Vintage 1970s Maya SC36DN S-Type Lawsuit Electric Guitar Made in Japan
M aya SC36DN electric guitar (Stratocaster). Made in Japan between 1972 and 1976 - genuine lawsuit era. Sen Ash natural body with maple neck. Not too heavy, 3.75 kg. The neck is a medium chunky C, similar to a mid 70s Fender Strat.
Minimal fret wear at the nut end. There is some wear to the maple board commensurate with age - like wise on the underside of the neck - see pics.
Not sure if its the 3 way switch or try wiring - its priced accordingly. There are scuffs and marks all over as you would expect from a 50 year old guitar.
Classic bullet truss rod, big chunky steel tremolo block, also marked made in Japan. It plays well and sounds great. These are highly collectible, particularly in Germany, Spain and Italy where they command a much higher price.
