Based on internet research, this doll was released for one year before being discontinued. She was the only Barbie that Mattel made that had eyes that open and shut. Because we are limited to the number of photos I created multiple collages. This set belonged to its original owner until estate sale in 2009. Someone bought it thinking she would sell it eventually but left it sitting in a closet for all those years until I acquired it from her. The doll - body is in excellent condition, I just replaced her o-ring for good head/neck attachment. The tragedy of this set is the severe melt marks/indentations above her eyes. These are to be expected with this doll, but the one above her right eye is pretty severe. Were it not for the melt marks this doll would really be in amazing condition.

Has her bathing suit with polka dots and yarn swim cap with glitter. Box (in my non expertise opinion) is in amazing condition for being close to 60 years old. Swing set is complete - It's in good condition, this is an incredible display piece but I do not recommend it for young hands. There are three identical posts that create the top of this frame, you can see them in one of the collages. I have drawn an arrow showing where one was repaired by original owner.

As shown in that collage I would recommend you use it for the top middle of the frame, and use the other two for the sides. Instructions are in great condition for age. I was shocked to see in the instructions it was the owner's job to poke holes into the corners of the canopy and insert the elastic bands that attach the canopy to the frame. Owner put longer bands on the front and shorter ones on the back so that's the why canopy hangs down further in the front (would be very easy to redo).

In the very last photo, last collage picture, you will see where I detached the bands from the frame and put the canopy up further. Comes with blonde wig as seen in photos. The wig stand and tree unfortunately were not in the box, nor brunette wig or her shoes.

With Barbie's wig cap or wig on, covering those indentations, and sitting on her swing, what an incredible vintage display. All items will be in polybags inside the box.
