1974 Greco N-60 Vintage Hollowbody Archtop Guitar Blonde ES-175 Japan Fujigen

Up for sale, a 1974 Greco N-60 vintage hollowbody electric guitar in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Produced in Japan's famed Fujigen factory (the same factory perhaps best known for their production of Orville, Fender Japan, and Gretsch instruments along with a host of others over the years), this guitar is very faithful to a Gibson ES-175 in cosmetic appointments, feel, and most importantly tone!

Featuring original PAF-style humbuckers made by Maxon, the guitar produces a sweet, singing tone with great harmonics. Acoustically, the instrument has a b.

And while the Greco guitars were never subject to any actual legal action, they still round out what's commonly referred to as the "lawsuit" instruments due to their reverence and accuracy to their USA-made counterparts. The guitar weighs in at 6lbs 15oz. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, this Greco N-60 is setup with low, slinky action and fresh 10-46 strings. The maple neck has a s. Oft V profile, filling out to a round C shape as you travel up the bound rosewood fretboard. Inlaid with split parallelograms as per vintage Gibson spec, the guitar features original. Slender frets, which show just a touch of wear on the crowns of frets 1-2, extending beneath the B string until fret 5. The nut measures 1 9/16" in width, and the guitar boasts a classic open book headstock shape along with original "star tuners which turn very smoothly. Other vintage touches include a floating bridge with carved rosewood base, witch hat knobs, and trapeze tailpiece. The all-maple body features bookmatched flame figuring on the top and back, and the guitar is remarkably clean with a neck profile that is free of wear.

Nly a couple minor dings and one line of finish checking on the treble side of the body at the waist, extending near the jack. This Greco is an impressively made guitar with an elegant feel and great set of tones. A hardshell case is included.

The case is missing its tolex on its lid, yet is structurally sound with working latches and the original handle.
