Antique Japan bronze Koro chinese karajishi lion sculpture 1800s incense burner

This is an incense burner probably made in the late 1800s or early 1900s. The jet-black color of age, the even body, and the size all make this a gem of the you can feel period. This incense burner is based on the ancient Japanese motif of the Chinese phantom lion called Karazhi.
