Beautiful Vintage Japanese Cloisonné Plique a Jour Vase By Ando Cloisonne. Very nice colorful Plique a Jour (shotai-jippo) vase. I included many pictures so different designs can be seen in their entirety in different combinations. Silvered top and bottom rims. Vase has sticker on the bottom of Ando Cloisonne. Ando was one of the premier Japanese cloisonne artists and the company carries the tradition. Vase is 4 3/4" tall, 4 1/2" at its widest. Minimal normal scuffs to base. Plique a Jour making is very difficult. Most are lost in the process.

Additionally, these vases are very fragile and subject to cracking from use. This is a very fine specimen free of damage of any sort.
