Fender Japan 62 Vintage Reissue Stratocaster Surf Green nitro relic guitar CIJ

Now here is something truly unique! This 62 Vintage Reissue Stratocaster has got an amazing Surf Green nitro refinish with some interesting discolouration and hints of blue on the top. Finish looks awesome and has some stunning color gradient. Body has plenty of surface wear and several dings, the bigger one located on the bass side of the body. However, all the wear is purely cosmetic, inner cavities haven't been modified and the guitar is structurally solid.

Body was made around 1996, neck comes from 2004. Medium C-shape neck has a very nice thickness to it, lacquer on the back is gently worn to a velvet feel. Gorgeous Indian rosewood fretboard has some beautiful wood grain and vintage frets have minimal wear. Alnico V vintage-style pickups provide a broad palette of classic Stratocaster tones, from warm neck to balanced middle and twangy bridge and all those funky "in-betweens".

Wiring has been fully upgraded with USA-spec CTS A250K pots, Oak 5-way switch and Orange Drop capacitor for smooth treble roll off. All mounted on a lovely 3-ply mint green scratchplate. Tremolo system includes a full size steel block for better sustain and resonance. Saddles have surface patina and wear, but all height adjustment screws work smoothly.

This instrument received a full professional setup with deep body cleaning, body polish, neck deep clean, rosewood fretboard lemon oil treatment, full electronics check, truss-rod and action and intonation adjustment. Restringed with Fender 10-46 Nickel-plated steel strings. 24h courier service provided to UK customers.
