Japanese vintage satsuma TALL vase - Shimazu Family crest. This piece is marked on bottom Shimazu family crest and below that Satsuma Yaki, the last character in Satsuma is abbreviated. Longest width is approximately 10 toward top of base. Weighs 11 pounds and 3 oz.

Condition: for its age this has been preserved exceptionally well. No chips cracks or dents or observable paint loss.

Hallmarked on base of vase. I did my due diligence in researching this particular Japanese artist and family.
