Thanks for viewing my listing! I have been a net collector of vintage watches over the years and now I've reached to point where I would like others to enjoy my watches/accessories or finish off projects I don't have time for.

Condition: Pre-owned in Excellent Condition. 36mm diameter excluding crown, 42mm lug-lug, accommodates 18mm strap/bracelet. Accessories: 18mm/14mm vintage black leather strap; 15mm original King Seiko Buckle; NOS Crystal Installed (original included); Inner/Outer original Seiko "Modern Masters of Time" box. The King Seiko series was produced from Seiko's Suwa factory in 1963 to mid 1970 and ultimately was discontinued. This particular model includes the "Superior Chronometer Offical Certified" label which is a rarer dial variation only released in 1969; some argue that the accuracy specification of these Superior models exceeded Grand Seiko.

The 5625A serialed chronometer grade movement features 25 Jewels, a date complication and runs Hi-beat at 28,800 bph. The original glass crystal had quite a few scratches so my watchmaker installed a hard-to-find original Seiko 300V04GNS replacement (old crystal is included - still usable with some scratches and peripheral chips).

Starburst silver dial and elegant thin hands are in excellent condition with no signficant aging/staining. Signed crown is in very good shape, manually winds smooth and quickset day (Kanji/English) and date work with no issues. Please remember not change the date between 9PM and 3AM as the quickset gear is known to break over time. Case and caseback have only a few light scratches; very good condition for a vintage. Caseback medallion with proper "KS Superior Chronometer" is original and in excellent shape.

I was able to get a movement shot when my watchmaker updated the crystal; it's in very good shape. The watch keeps accurate time on the wrist and winder; service recommended for all vintages. You also get the original elongated "Modern Masters of Time" displaybox with the rare outer cardboard box both in excellent shape.

An unused glossy croc grain 18mm vintage leather strap is included along with the rare original KS signed 15mm buckle. Here's a very nice vintage Seiko for your collection that is priced under the competing Grand Seiko line of the time. Those that collect vintage Seikos know there's still good value in the King Seiko series.

The Superior Chronometer Offical Certified designation was only produced in 1969 for the 56 Automatic and 45 Hand Wind series. Don't miss out on this rare beauty in near mint condition!
