Born in Saga Prefecture, Inoue was celebrated for his mastery of white porcelain (hakuji), creating pieces with refined forms, flawless surfaces, and a delicate translucency. His work often featured simple, elegant shapes that highlighted the purity and beauty of Arita porcelain, embodying both technical precision and artistic restraint.
