Number 1 Barbie Blonde # 1 ponytail 1959

Up for your consideration is a lovely 1959 Mattel Blonde #1 Barbie doll. She has beautiful face paint with bright red lips that have a very small touch up (you can see the doll before the restoration in the last photo). The rest of her paint is original. Her body has faded with age and she has faded fairly evenly.

Her feet have the typical staining from wearing shoes for many years. Her foot is marked "Japan" and her bottom has the Barbie logo, Pats Pending, MCMLVIII, by Mattel Inc. Her hair has no missing plugs, no hair cuts and it is retied.

There are no nose nips, no green ear and no neck splits. Limbs are tight and neck nob is good and sturdy. Tm box is in fair condition and not marked with a hair color. See my other auctions some starting at.
