Rare Vintage 1971 Jdm Seiko 6139-7012 Speed-timer 21j. Automatic Chronograph
According to its serial number this watch gotout of the factory in September 1971. Stainless steel case is nearly in perfect condition. It measures 41mm without the recessed crown X 44mm from lug to lug: quite big for the early 70's.
Mineral crystal is not new, a light hairline can be seen on close photos around the center but it's invisible when the watch is on the wrist. Beautiful matte black dial in perfect condition. Tachymeter inner ring is also free of defect. Original hour and inute hands are very white with no trace of age or moisture.
Yellow second and subdial hads are also in very nice condition. Quickset day/date is working perfectly. A deep push o the crown will set the day, a lighter push will set the date. The Kanji day disk have been remplaced by an English/French disk since it didn't turn properly. It runs perfectly with or without the chronograph within 5 sec.Chronograph also works fine, pushers are smooth and both hands reset pefectly to their initial position. This watch will come on a very nice sand NATO.
