This piece was created to honor the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and represents the 1st chronograph ever created by Seiko. This example comes in a beautiful vintage Seiko watch box, as well as 2 bracelets. The case still shows the clean lines and facets Seiko is famous for while also showing some wear considering it's nearly 50 years of age. The crystal is in excellent condition with no issues to speak of as seen in photos. The hands are in great shape showing crisp edges. The dial is an untouched vintage dial that while having some light marks and fading as seen, still catches the light beautifully. The movement was serviced in 2020 and is running very well. The chronograph function starts, stops, and resets perfectly to 0. The bezel is the original plastic version which is highly sought after as many were replaced due to breaking. The original bracelet is included and is sized to an approximately 6 1/2 wrist with no additional links.
The Seiko beads of rice bracelet the watch is currently on fits very well and comes with extra links for larger wrists. The watch box comes from the late 1960's or early 1970's and is great for display purposes. The caseback has an image of the Olympic torch engraved but is very faint due to wear over the years.
