Up for sale is a 1969 Lord Matic. The monocoque case combined with the elegant Seiko Grammar of Design philosophy, makes this a excellent underrated dress watch. Although the 56XX series were notorious for having their plastic day date setting wheels wear out over time, both day/date quickset works perfectly on this watch. Overall, the 5606 should be a robust, reliable, easy to service, and precise caliber capable of going head-to-head with some of Switzerland's finest at the time. Condition will be as shown in photos. All components are assumed to be original, or at least of correct specification. Service history unknown, but the watch is still running fine.
I've owned this watch for around a year and wore it on-and-off. The watch was always stored in a dry, cool, low-moisture environment away from direct sunlight whilst under my ownership. Additional information: Lug to lug case size: 42mm Thickness: 9mm 21600BPH hacking movement with manual winding option. Power reserve around 44 hours.
Water and magnetic resistance not tested. As this is a vintage watch, usage during labor work, sports, harsh conditions, swimming and bathing, or within strong magnetic fields are all highly discouraged. Long-term operation will not be guaranteed. Service is recommended for optimal performance. I will address concerns within 24 hours to the best of my ability.
