Serviced Seiko SBCW009 Landmaster Transpolar Titanium Kinetic 5M45-6A01 Aug 1997
Rare and very limited edition (only 1877) Japanese Market Seiko Prospex Landmaster Mitsuro Ohba Traspolar Adventure World Record Kinetic Watch (SBCW009) with a one piece titanium case and Kinetic movement in great condition. Just serviced with a brand new and upgraded Seiko 5M65 movement. Includes seiko box, 5m45 manual, 4 extra links, and a blank guarantee card. The bracelet was carefully polished and the watch was disassembled and cleaned in an ultrasonic bath. Additionally the watch received a new capacitor and bezel gasket. The bracelet was repaired with a pin which can be seen in the photos.
Bracelet measures 7.75 (19.5cm) including the 4 spare links. The watch is in overall great condition.
It has some scuffing on the case and bracelet, typical of titanium. The crystal appears to be in excellent shape. All functions tested and working properly. The bezel rotates freely in both directions.Quick set date, screw in crown, and GMT functions all work properly. Dial, hands, indices, and lume appear in great shape. This was released in 1877 pieces and the dial is a unusual blue color with a map of the Arctic region subtly printed on it. This model has baton markers and has silver (not the usual white) hour and minute hands and yellow (not the usual red) GMT hand. 6 month power reserve with indicator.
