Stunning Woodblock Print- Master Rinsai Utsushi ca. 1870-1880 Cranes & Flowers

Good color, impression, fair state, moderate signs of aging. Master Rinsai Utsushi is a legendary Japanese woodblock printmaker active from the 1860's to 1890's in Tokyo.

This is a wonderful example, competently framed. The outer frame measures 17in x 21in. While the body of the piece measures 9in x 13 in. The work is about an inch thick. Provenance: inherited from our father who was a prodigious art collector and dealer.
