Very Rare Vintage 1982-84 Jv Serial Fender Jazzmaster'66 Ri Fujigen Sunburst

Up for grabs is one of the holy grails of Japanese offset collecting, a JV serial Fender Japan Jazzmaster, built at FujiGen between 1982 and 1984. This is before Jazzmasters were remotely popular & there are very few JVs in existence. Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine) Jazzmaster is apparently a JV. Anyway the build quality of this Jazzmaster is superb and it has what look like U. It looks awesome too with a great looking vintage sunburst and is remarkably clean fot such an early example.

The JV serial is stamped on the neckplate. The naturally tinted amber maple neck feels great to play. Its complete with original tort FujiGen pickguard.

No problems at all, straight neck, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. No issues whatsoever either electrically on structurally. Obviously its 40 years old now so obviously not mint, but very clean for the age with just two or three little paint nicks.

No breaks, repairs, routing etc. This beautifully built Jazzmaster, one of Fender Japans earlier ever, has aged into a really nice vintage guitar. Complete with original trem-arm and HSC.
