VERY RARE Vintage AL MAR Applegate/Fairbairn COMBAT SMATCHET Double Edge
It is a classic Commando knife, with the signatures of the original designer William E. Fairbairn and of the Coronel Rex Applegate, who restyled it during WW II.
It was made during the'80s in SEKI, the Japan blades capital, with 1000 years fame. It is 16" long, with heavy double sided blade 10" long. Never used or sharpened, edges and tip are perfect. Just storage signs and fingerprints. The heavy cordura sheath has some storage sign, too, nothing else.
