Vintage 1985 Ibanez Roadstar II 2 RB850 bass in good shape. This is a passive bass will a sculpted or carved body that is really comfortable.
Has a little chunky but narrow neck like a smaller Fender P bass neck. 2 of the pots are push-push that switch from full humbucker to a coil tap/split that gives a fairly convincing single coil tone.
It's not a Fender Jazz tone, but the humbuckers get much more "glassy" when split/tapped. I would describe it as medium. I think it's setup perfectly for rock stuff or playing with a pick. The bass is in good shape overall. There are plenty of swirls in the paint and there's a fair amount of smaller dings around the perimeter of the body.
The worst of things is pictured. The bass ships in an also vintage Ibanez hardshell case.
It's actual a case from an older Studio (924 I think) Ibanez bass. A previous owner "modded" the inside to allow room for a different bass to fit.It fits this Roadstar II RB850 pretty well. While the case covering on top was coming up someone has added some duct tape to keep the covering on. The case is otherwise rock solid and all of the latches hold just fine.
