Vintage HALLOWEEN Black Cat DOUBLE SIDED Cardboard LANTERN Bow Tie INSERT. Vintage Halloween Black Cat Cardboard lantern is double sided and most likely from Japan but could be Germany- I have seen this item described as either being from either country.

It is unmarked so we are not certain- either way it is a very nice early vintage lantern and hard to find in any condition. Both sides have the same scary, frightful face. It measures approx 7.5" tall and approx 5.75" at widest. Paper inserts have small tears hardly noticeable. In fact we just noticed as we were writing this up for insertion on E-Bay.

Wire bail handle is present. Both a fun and scary piece to add to your Halloween collection! Item comes from a smoke free home. Please study all photos carefully.
