Vintage Japanese Water Container

This is not my area of expertise. I think it is a water pot used during a time of making tea. The lines are very nice on the eye and in hands.

The finish is quite nice with excellent contrast. The lid with two decorated sides is a nice touch as well.

Slight dimple on rim (see photos) I think but can't be sure it occurred during the making of this pot. Please examine all photographs as they are an important part of item description. And always feel free to message with any questions. We recycle packaging materials as much as humanly possible.
