This regal set is richly detailed and hand-painted in an old-world palette for authenticity and enduring beauty. Includes; Holy Family - Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus, Sheperd Boy and 2 Wisemen. Paper Mache' made in Japan. For your consideration, each Wisemen weigh over 1 lb each and together, all weigh 6+ pounds before packaging. I believe 1:6 scale, measurements are. Joseph 10.5" with bases of approx 4.5" at widest angle. Baby Jesus is 4.5" x 3". Wise men are both 13. Lovely, although blemished, you are sure to cherish these large, heirloom quality and traditional symbols of spirituality.
Please note Baby Jesus has significant damage, Joseph is missing his staff, and all have various wear, chipped paint, as well as some dents and dings. Papier mache actually originates from China; the inventors of paper itself.
