Vintage & Rare 1982 CASIO Divers DW-1000 (280) Japan Y 36mm watch New Battery
1982 Vintage Digital Diver wristwatch (Pre G-Shock model, first 200M WR on Casio's watch lineup). Looking awesome and showing moderate usage, with some scratches; wrist size up to a tight 7 inches but Casio metal band is not original and can easily be replaced for a original looking black resin one, let me know if you prefer that; new battery. RARE are common words used here nowadays, very easy to get confused and fooled by. In my opinion vintage is at least 20 years old and rare is the hard to find, simple as that. Im a Generation X G-Shock enthusiast, I still have my first one, a DW-5700 bought in the late 80s.
Most of my stuff is vintage and retro, thats what I like; some are brand new while others are custom, I like tinkering; and a few are indeed rare and collectible. Hope I have what you are looking for! Used things show usage, wear, scruffs, marks, nicks and scratches, unless theyre noted mint. I clean, test and check everything to the best of my knowledge, but Im neither a watch repair expert nor intending to be one. Batteries have a shelf life impossible to predict so there are absolutely no guarantees, as well as, again, for the watches themselves, since theyre used.
