Vintage Handmade Japanese Damascus Steel Katana With Ornate Brass Sheath. Sheath is made of brass and ornately painted & engraved. The following information was passed to me regarding the katana so I'm not able to verify if this is true but during my own research it appears to check out. Vintage WWII Japanese katana, not used during the war but created during the same time period.

The blade is handmade as you can see all the appropriate markings on the spine of the blade from the folding process. The pin holding the grip over the tang is intact and I didn't want to risk breaking it to check the quality of the full tang. Overall it is in great condition and has been well taken care of.
